I been wondering about something…..
How does cellulite come about and how to stop it or prevent it from continuing?
More and more my skin seems to lose its firmness and I wonder if this is cos of a lack of exercise, toxins and a previously not great diet or simply genetic.
I plan to do some research on it now, but I know just how much stuff there is online and I often dont know what to believe or I start to believe too much in one thing that is actually a load of nonsense.

I get asked about cellulite a lot !! And unsurprisingly really as we all like to feel and look great right ?! Ofcourse we do
I’m going to break it down into bite size chunks..after all thats part of how we got it in the first place
Cellulite has a message for you….cellulite is here to say there is an imbalance happening in your body.
How exactly does cellulite come about ?
I personally believe, and this belief is based on working on thousands of bodies over the years, that cellulite comes about when your system gets over loaded and your organs are not coping with the toxic load coming in.

What is cellulite ?
Cellulite is, in my opinion, toxins which the body has been unable to process that get wrapped in fat and usually get deposited on the thights and bum, away from your vital organs…..if it begins to spread else where it is usually a sign of toxic over load. And yes unfortunately women are more prone to it then men.
I can hear lots of women running out the room screaming as the they read this….toxins ahhhh !!!

Ok well actually it is pretty simple – shift the toxins…Simple to say but it can take considerable and consistant application and care especially if you have a big build up. Your number one thing to say goodbye to is coffee….yup sorry starbucks will have you modelling a star-butt if you keep that up. Coffee send our systems in to shock and that ‘kick of energy’ that we feel is actually our adrenals kicking out a load of adrenaline because they believe our life is in danger….so coffee = stress = toxins they all go hand in hand. The number two thing for best the cellulite busting is to eat lots of unheated healthy fats, by health fats I mean plant based unprocessed fats, such as avocados, virgin cold pressed coconut oil, virgin cold pressed olive oil. It is important that you eat these fats raw rather than heated, although if you are going to cook with fat I would only recommend coconut oil. Fats what? Yup you read it right – your body needs fats but healthy fats to break down stagnant fat and to absorb nutrients.
The number three thing is getting the toxic build up out. Well finally…..the number four thing..
I would apply daily morning and evening grapefruit or a citrus fruit natural oil from Young Living’s therapeutic grade oil selection. Followed by some organic virgin coconut oil, liberally applied and then do what is known as Gua Sha. Gua sha involves repeated pressured strokes over well oiled skin with a smooth edge. You could use a ceramic edge, a worn coin or an animal horn…. I like to use a piece of Rosewood.
The smooth edge is placed against the well oiled skin and then you press down firmly, and then moved down the muscles—its often referred to as friction-stroking, it can be done along the meridian points or on any fatty tissue area. Each stroke being about 4-6 inches long.
At first it can be a little painful and the skin will go a blotch read, this redness and any pain is the stagnant energy/toxins in your tissues. You will find if you continue to work with this soon it will get easier and easier and easier and there will be little and then no pain. Your skin will have an sheen and glow to it that will be like feeling and looking at the skin of your youth and your cellulite will be a thing of the past. AMAZING !
